Chain Strike OTK

Hey all, it's Gadjiltron again. Rather than present an idea I just got off the top of my head, I'm working for a Deck change.

So, before I embark on getting the cards for this, I'd like to see how well this would actually perform.

So what matchups does this side against again, and why?

That's wad Lava Golem is supposed to be for, to remove irritating Monsters like that.

He have to take care when going against Royal Decree or Skill Drain though. The whole deck will just crumple under those cards without any backrow destruction, imo.

Side Deck changed to provide some backrow destruction, in case of Decree or Drain.

Can consider,

-2 Lava Golem
-1 Accumulated Fortune

+ 3 Mecha Bunny


Though Accumulated Fortune's effect of drawing 2 cards is good, but its not very useable as it has to be activated as chain link 4 & above. Thus, I find 1 is usually suffice.

Mecha Bunny is a good option as
1: It targets a card on the field and burn 500. Pretty Mild, but still burning right? can target self as well to heal if opp have prime material dragon on the field, for example.
2: It helps to mill through your deck quicker, thinning it and allowing you to draw the cards that you need faster.
3: It provides you with a "meat shield" for your LP. When 1 Mecha Bunny goes down, it pulls another to replace it, up to 2 times.

You can always side in Lava Golems when you know your opp plays Prime Material Dragon and/or dangerous beatsticks.

Just my humble opinion.

I've managed all incarnations of my Chain Strike Decks in video games with 2 copies of Accumulated Fortune, and things have been going well. I easily reach 3 links or higher so the activation requirement is easily met, and as a bonus it adds to the Chain for additional Chain Strike damage.

How does spear cretin sounds?
Having one in grave means a infinite cycle of "meat" shield.
Can also use the first copy's effect to pull stuffs like morphing jar back to hand.

You COULD look your meat shields, though that would also mean your opponent getting an infinite cycle of monsters from their graveyard.
